Raise Our Voices
Women & Girls Discuss Intersectionality
Feminism has given women the right to vote, challenged gender roles, introduced us to intersectionality, and informed the #MeToo movement. But traditional feminism has also often fallen short by excluding women of color who experience dual marginalization.
Today, issues such as reproductive rights and pay equity remind us that the fight for equality is not yet won. During Raising Our Voices, our multigenerational panel will discuss their experiences and perspectives about gender, race, and class, as well as their hopes for the next generation. Tuesday, April 26 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm via ZoomTo register for this event go to Click Here.
