Adult Aquatics
YWCA Greenwich’s Nick Cavataro Swimming Pool is a 25-yard, 6-lane warm-water pool equipped with handicapped-accessible swim lift. All pool activities are supervised by YWCA's American Red Cross-certified instructors and lifeguards.
With the exception of swim lessons, all adult aquatics programs are included as part of all Full Memberships.

For Affiliate Members or Non-Members, the YWCA Greenwich pool is available for a nominal fee.

DolphinMasters Adult Swim Group
Are you a former competitive or serious recreational swimmer? The DolphinMasters swim group offers enhanced physical conditioning in a friendly competitive atmosphere. Masters swimmers can choose to compete at local and regional Master Meets as well. Open only to Full Members, and fees apply.

Swim School
We take great pride in our customized, student-centered approach to swim instruction. Our focus is on placing every student at the appropriate skill level, with the right instructor, so that everyone benefits. Classes are smaller to ensure a higher student to instructor ratio. Adults learn fundamental swimming skills such as safely entering and exiting the pool, float, submerge and basic strokes.
Private Swim Lessons
Individual lessons are designed to teach adults to swim in a safe positive environment. Experienced and competitive swimmers can also take lessons to improve their technique. By appointment only.

Aquatic Arthritis
This wonderful Arthritis Foundation course is scientifically proven to reduce pain and stiffness associated with arthritis. The class also works on balance and participants leave class feeling renewed! Included in Full Membership.

Aqua Fit

Intense interval training, plus aquatic exercises using various equipment. Sessions tone and condition core muscle groups. This class is not recommended for seniors. Included in Full Membership.

YW Floats
YW Floats offers a safe and fun workout on the water, designed to grow core and joint stabilization, improve your over-all fitness level, prevent injury through better balance, and burn calories.
