Men Against Domestic Violence
Dear Friends and Members of YWCA Greenwich,
Now more than ever we need men as allies to combat the violence and harassment that many women and girls endure.
I'm writing to ask you to join our male YWCA Greenwich Staff, pictured here, in taking a stand against domestic violence and show your love and respect for the women and children in our community.
By clicking a link below you can add your name to the roster of men whose names will be featured in an advertisement in Greenwich Time on Father’s Day, June 21, 2020. Last year, more than 500 men who live or work in Greenwich joined our Men Against Domestic Violence Campaign.
One in four women will experience domestic violence during her lifetime. YWCA Greenwich, the only provider of free, 24/7 domestic abuse services in the community, answers calls each day on its hotline (203-622-0003), counsels adult and child victims, provides criminal and court services to adults and their children, and provides emergency shelter for victims. Even through the pandemic, we have continued to provide these critical services by phone and secure video conferencing.
