2019 YWCA Greenwich Centennial Celebration
On Saturday, June 1, 2019, YWCA Greenwich held a special Gala in honor of the individuals who have made YWCA Greenwich the community treasure it is today. YWCA Greenwich and the women who have led this great institution have always understood the need for a local voice for women and girls. From the beginning the organization has provided a safe haven for young, single women, as well as a club where women could learn new skills, become community activists, and build camaraderie among like-minded women of their time.
Today, YWCA Greenwich fulfills our mission to eliminate racism, empower women and girls and promote inclusion in our community through adult and children's programming, community partnerships, and through the vital work of YWCA Domestic Abuse Services. Photos from the 2019 Gala
