Wendy Block has worked and volunteered in the non-profit sector throughout her life. While attending law school at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, she co-founded the New York Benefit and Aid Committee for Kids, which was a collective giving organization for young professionals to provide contributions and support to NYC children’s charities.

After practicing law for five years, Wendy transitioned to the non-profit sector serving as the Director of Development for the Beginning with Children Foundation (an educational non-profit in NYC), followed by Vice President of Grants for The Pumpkin Foundation (a family foundation based in NYC). She also served on the Board of the Stamford Academy Charter School, has been an active volunteer at DOMUS and Horizons Bridgeport, is a Partner of SVP-CT, and is a member of the DEI Leadership Council at the University of Michigan.

In 2015, Wendy co-founded Impact Fairfield County. Impact FFC is a collective giving circle for women of Fairfield County, CT which provides large, transformational grants to local non-profits. The organization also serves as a venue for women to learn about critical local needs, organizations serving those needs, and how to engage in effective grantmaking. In 2018, Impact FFC launched Generation Impact as a program to introduce over 100 high school girls to the needs in our area, foster a spirit of philanthropy and empower girls to work together as the next generation of women to make an impact in our community. As of June 2021, Impact FFC has provided over $1.3 million in grant funding and has a membership of 250 women.

Wendy and her husband, Jason, have lived in Greenwich since 2002 and have three children Tyler (21), Kyle (17) and Ellie (14).
