Stephanie Dunn Ashley has worked and volunteered in the nonprofit sector in Greenwich for over twenty years. Her current role as CEO for the MNYN chapter of the American Red Cross began in March of 2020. Stephanie overseas Westchester and Rockland Counties in New York, the U. S. Military Academy at West Point and Greenwich, Connecticut for all lines of service of the Red Cross. From 2007-2020 Stephanie was Director of Fundraising Special Events for Greenwich Hospital where she was the leader of the fundraising team that planned and executed over fifty galas, major fundraisers, cultivation events, and community events resulting in over fifteen million dollars in new funds for the hospital. Previously, Stephanie worked at Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich, where she headed up alumnae advancement within the development office.

Prior to her work in development and fundraising, Stephanie became a mother of premature twins and was able to experience firsthand how the funds raised for nonprofit organizations affected her community. This reinforced her desire to continue to serve her community in a volunteer capacity. For the past ten years, Stephanie has been a staple volunteer and service member of the Cos Cob Fire Police Patrol and Greenwich EMS. She routinely passes rigorous tests to maintain her status as a firefighter, holds a license as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and most importantly, is the President of the Board of Directors of the CCFPP. Stephanie was raised in Manhattan and has worked with her high school alma mater, Convent of the Sacred Heart NYC by acting as a Board Member for her high school alumnae association, a benefit committee chairperson for their annual Creative Arts Ball, and annual fund representative for her graduating class.

In Greenwich, Stephanie has also chaired and participated in PTA fundraisers for her daughter’s schools, Greenwich Emergency Medical Service, and the Greenwich Arts Council. Stephanie co-chairs the September 11th Memorial Service at Cos Cob Park and the CCFPP Annual benefits.

Stephanie graduated from Convent of the Sacred Heart in Manhattan, NYC, and earned a BA from Fordham University. She has continued her post graduate education with courses in business management, leadership, and culinary arts.

Stephanie is the recipient of the 2021 Greenwich Sentinel Award and received the 2021 Greenwich Bar Association Liberty Bell Award. Stephanie, her husband Gary, and twin daughters Anneliese and Charlotte, live in Cos Cob, Connecticut.
