As a nonprofit partner and thought leader since 1992, Fairfield County’s Community Foundation (FCCF) brings together passionate people and trusted resources to solve our region’s challenges. FCCF’s mission is to promote philanthropy as a means to create change in Fairfield County, focusing on innovative and collaborative solutions to critical issues impacting our community.

The Community Foundation has awarded over $337 million in grants since its inception. In 1998, the Foundation created The Fund for Women and Girls when a group of women philanthropists discovered that only 2% of philanthropy was going to women’s causes. Since then, FCCF’s Fund for Women and Girls has grown to be one of the largest of its kind in New England.

Fairfield County’s Community Foundation values their commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, collaboration, and integrity – with a focus on closing the opportunity gap in Fairfield County. They strive daily to foster an inclusive community where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
