Elaine Ubiña was born in New York City and raised between Lawrence, NY and Lima, Peru. Elaine attended the Lawrence Country Day School, Foxcroft School and graduated with a BFA from The School of Visual Arts in New York.

Always carrying a camera has been Elaine’s mantra. From the horse fields of Virginia to the discos of Manhattan, Elaine became involved with the world of social photography at a young age. She worked at Tiffany & Co. in the Public Relations Department, where she learned about the world of magazines and events. Elaine met her husband, ChiChi at Tiffany’s. They started their business together in 1991. ChiChi specializing in corporate and architectural photography and Elaine in events and public relations.

With two young children in tow, Elaine and ChiChi moved to Greenwich, CT in 1997 and they expanded their business. Elaine became involved photographing and publicizing many of the non-profit and charitable events in the area. They launched their online magazine, Fairfield County LOOK in 2008. It is the go-to social luxury-oriented publication in the area with party pictures from charity events, balls and galas. Elaine built it as a modern day version of “our mother’s Town & Country.” It incorporates articles on Faces of Philanthropy, Travel, Lifestyle and Design, plus her favorite hobby, Astrology!

Elaine works closely with her non-profit clients’ CEO’s, Development and Communications Departments, as well as their boards to brainstorm fundraising opportunities and to find innovative ways to tell the stories of these amazing organizations. “Greenwich is an extremely philanthropic town and we are lucky to have so many services to help those in need around us, as well as fantastic cultural institutions. We are here to shed light on these organizations and to help them raise funds, as well as to find volunteers with interests that align with them.”

Elaine also launched Palm Beach LOOK and continues to follow the philanthropic scene in southern Florida, where many Fairfield County residents spend their winters. Elaine and ChiChi have four children, who range from ages 26 to 11. She has also been active in the Greenwich Country Day School, Greenwich Academy and Brunswick School communities.
